The Hurlingham Club is a high-spec sporting facility within the 42 acres of Ranleagh Gardens on the bank of the iconic Thames in Fulham, London. Their multi-million pound project was awarded to ISG, with Tubecon hired to provide the steel frame for a new Racquet Centre which will house four squash and four tennis courts.
The new design has a low profile with sunken courts and a barrel-vaulted roof structure designed to Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and World Squash Federation (WSF) standards. Tubecon were hired to design and install the complex 45m span Steel Frame using curved Vierendeel trusses with integrated timber Roof Cassettes.
Tubecon’s work on the project is now complete with the full project scheduled for completion later in the year.
