We are accredited by the SCCS in ISO9001, ISO14000 and ISO18000 and are proud to be full members of the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA). Tubecon is also on the register for Qualified Steelwork Contractors Scheme for Bridgeworks with the BCSA.

Our estimating department will liaise directly with you to ensure our bid is fully compliant and meets the employers requirements. Our Estimators will engage with you to ascertain your requirements and identify potential cost risks and potential value engineering options to ensure that the most cost efficient solution is offered by us in full compliance with the specification and design brief.  Our vast experience has helped us to appreciate the importance to our clients of offering a sound and robust bid in full compliance with the specification and the design brief.

Our experienced in-house design team, led by Chartered Structural Engineers, have successfully worked on some of the most complex and demanding projects. Through years of experience with complex steel structures we can design a host of different connection details, allowing structural efficiency, high levels of aesthetics and ease of installation.

The Tubecon team will work with you from the early planning stages through to the completion of the project and are on hand to offer advice and support at all stages. At the start of every project, we put together a team which is led by a Project Manager with the necessary skills and experience to guarantee success. On larger or more complex steel structures, we regularly set up a full-time presence on site with IT links back to head office.

We operate from a purpose built facility using the latest CNC machines networked directly to our drawing office to optimise the accuracy and efficiency of our production. Our specialist workshop offers the space required to set out large scale fabrication completely, allowing us to fabricate complex steel structures to the stringent tolerances that they require.

We are proud of our on site construction and steelwork installation team. Our Site Managers ensure construction is completed to the highest standard on every site. All projects are carefully controlled by our Site Engineers and well before we start installation, a Method Statement is developed including a detailed description of the work procedure, together with the necessary risk assessments. We accept no compromises on safety and our Health and Safety Managers carry out routine inspections of all our sites.
